We are so grateful and thankful to all our clients who continue to trust in us to help them tell their stories. Storytelling is what we do, whether it’s motion, audio, photo stills, copywriting or a combination of all four. And without our clients we would not be in business.
This past year has been one of transition, change and growth, both personally and professionally.
The older I get the more I understand and comprehend the term – “People don’t look for advertising and certainly don’t want to be sold. They want to buy when they are ready.” Thus the world of video that now encompasses and has taken over the web is where the action is and the younger generation is paying attention. People are watching more video online and we can reach more viewers than ever before but the competition is fierce for their attention.
This is where effective storytelling comes into play and can help us to better connect with our existing clients and prospects both on and offline. When you look at the kind of stories we told this past year, they varied from small businesses and ministries, to non-profits and manufacturers.
Here are just a few highlights from 2017:
Jessica – a short documentary told by a woman who has experienced many years of pain, suffering and finally redemption.
Alisha – a miraculous come back about the journey of a young woman who was once on the Most Wanted list.
Impact a Life – the story about a startup ministry working its way into Sierra Leone, Africa. We worked on the post production for this project as the client fed us their motion and still files from in country.
Mosaic Bike Shop – one of the most unique ministry stories of an inner city outreach that I’ve ever seen.
The Heat Pump Store – people, products and a revolution in the heating and air conditioning industry.
509 Fabrications – Our last on location production of the year, filming a manufacturer of a new heating product that could actually revolutionize an industry.
With that said, The New Year is upon us. The time has come to look at how we can make a postive impact this each and every week of 2018. What stories did you tell this past year that have had an impact? Do you want to tell an even more impactful story this next year. What kind of an impact and connection do you want to make with your audience?
Only time will tell because time is flying by as 2018 is here. Contact Dave today to see how your stories can have more impact in the coming year.
