Well it’s early January and we are in post production in the warm studio for our friends at Lake Escapes Boat Rentals.
This round of content creation is for another round of videos and I have to admit it’s been a lot of fun looking back on the footage and content gathering sessions we had with them during the warm summer months. Yes, I know, it’s the middle of winter and all we can think about is staying warm as temperatures drop below freezing.
Why am I touching on the subject of summer fun when winter has set in and it’s been snowing on and off since Thanksgiving.
In 90 days it will be spring with temperatures rising, and in 150 days we’ll be at Memorial Day weekend, which in most towns in the Northwest is the kick off to summer.
If you want to make sure your family, friends and business associates have some fun on the lake, rent and test a boat from Lake Escapes. Yep, you read that right – test. Because if you test before you buy, if you are considering a purchase, testing can save you a lot of money and heartache.
Ok. Enough of the plug for our client. Let’s get into another subject and that’s called content creation.
Here are some Content Creation Items for you to ponder while sitting in front of the fire place, wood or natural gas stove this winter.
1. Be thinking in advance about what content you want your prospects to be seeing and hearing?
2. How would you as a prospect look or search for your type of product, service or information?
3. What does your content plan look like on paper (or tablet)? Is it viable and in line with your business plan?
These questions plus several more are the key to your success with content marketing this year. And I would also highly suggest you sketch out your content creation goals and get busy writing, recording, filming and designing.
Oh, and by the way, if that seems like too much work and hassle, then Contact Us and we can get you some content creation aspirin and juice to wash it down.
