When I first received the call from Stas Arsonov about his idea for filming about their Love On Every Billboard campaign, I was really surprised, but very intrigued. The idea of putting up billboards with just the word Love. Hmmm…Who would have thought it, right?
It’s such a great story and these guys have their hearts right as seen and heard by local reporter @KHQPeterMaxwell. He picked up the initial story last November and we got to work together briefly on location in Spokane Valley as shown in the behind the scenes picture we grabbed while filming.
Stories like this one don’t come along very often and we feel very blessed to be involved. From the studio settings here at our offices in the Steam Plant building on Lincoln, to the various locations we covered throughout Spokane and Spokane Valley. You couldn’t have asked for nicer people to work and collaborate with. It was and still is a joy to see how this unfolds, grows and catches fire.
As I pen this article today, The Today Show (#todayshow) picked up the story this morning and John is just elated and so excited. His Love On Every Billboard idea is just exploding and people are catching on all over the USA.
These two guys along with a lot of other volunteers and donors from around the country and world, have helped spread the word. Considering the times we live in and how much controversy looms on the streets and media, this positive message is one that brings hope. The word “Love” – can be used in so many different ways, yet John & Stas took this word and have created something great. And we believe this is only the start of something big.
