We finally wrapped up our latest project storytelling with Safe Families for Children. This short promo was created specifically for the Eastern Washington region.
The brief look into this heartwarming story is about two mothers whose worlds collide, and how the national organization with local ties has made such a huge difference in both of their families.
This local production was our second go around storytelling with Safe Families for Children.
Producing content for this non-profit has been very eye opening and fulfilling on several fronts. Our first go around was last fall when Derek and Darrel had us tell the overview story about another young mother and her children. This story was heartbreaking to say the least but has a very happy ending.
Filming for this latest production was at multiple locations in Spokane, including City Church on Garland and a private residence.
On location we had a really great crew to work with including Michael Belangie who operated the Sony A and B, A7Sii cameras.
Darrel Startin helped out with mixing audio and navigating with microphones, along with Patrick Beckley our production assistant and boom operator. And finally there’s veteran actress and producer Suzanne Niles who was kind enough to step in as our associate producer on location.
Post production was put together in three locations with producer & director Dave Krygier setting up the rough cut. Audio mixing and sweetening was done at Cider Mountain Studios with Jarin Bressler engineering.Joshua Moore took on video editing responsibilities in addition to color correction plus creating a custom music score. Needless to say he was very busy over the six weeks it took to get through post, and we could not have delivered the project the way we did without him.
A very special thank you goes out to Safe Families area director Derek Cutlip for all his hard work and dedication to this faith based organization. For without him this project would have never materialized.
